Halló frá Íslandi!
Today I visited Reykjavik, Iceland. Reykjavik is Iceland's capital. The main reason people come to Iceland is to see the capital and go to the wonderful tourist attractions. Some of the tourist attractions are: The National Museum of Iceland, The Northern Lights tour and The Golden Circle. The two that I visited are The National Museum of Iceland and The Northern Lights tour.
I stayed in a hotel called Fosshotel. The hotel is a 16 floor hotel with amazing views of the city and the sea. It has a restaurant with free Wifi. Fosshotel has a flat screen TV with cable channels, private bathrooms with showers & a desk in each room. At Fosshotel the food is phenomenal! They have bread, cereal, blackberrys with yogurt and much, much more. The good part about staying at Fosshotel is that they all speak English!
One of the things I did was go to The National Museum of Iceland. The Museum has a variety of fascinating exhibits to see. The main exhibit has over 2,000 artifacts from all around Iceland! Inside of the museum there are shiny wood floors and a variety of shades of white walls. For one of the exhibits there are mini Christmas trees on white blocky pedestals. Few of the trees are white, many of them are a dark green.
The Northern Lights Tour is a spectacular experience. The Northern Lights were one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen. The lights were a beautiful turquoise color. They shimmered like silk in the sun.

Ég er í Grindavík, Íslandi!
That up there says “I’m in Grindavík, Iceland!” Their language is very different from English. Hello in Icelandic is Halló, Goodnight is Góða nótt. Many people in Iceland speak English very well. If you were to go there you wouldn’t have a problem with speaking to other people!
I stayed in a hotel called Geo Hotel. Geo Hotel has 36 family and double rooms for people to stay in. When I got to my room I saw that there were shiny wooden floors. My bed had white blankets and fluffy white pillows. There was a sheet of light brown, baby blue, dark green and pale white nicely set on top of my bed. I had a small desk and a TV above the desk. My room was small but cosy. There were some cyan-ish gray blinds in front of some shiny windows that on the other side there was a beautiful view.
Around 6:20 PM I went to the Blue Lagoon spa and pool. There were lots of people there. There are people who work there that walk in the water and serve drinks. There was a really cool bridge over the water that connects the main island to a smaller island. They also had people that perform spa services. I got one and it was really nice. The Blue Lagoon was very relaxing and soothing.
While I was at Geo Hotel I tried the Hákarl, which is shark. It was really good. I also tried a little bit of hot spring rye bread. It was the best bread I had ever tasted. I found out that when they make the rye bread, they put it in a glass container and put it in the ground. The ground is so hot that it cooks the bread. There was also svið on the menu. Svið is sheep’s head, but I didn’t want to eat a sheep’s head.
5 Foods in Iceland

- Súrir hrútspungar- Sour ram's testicles
Hot Spring Rye Bread
Harðfiskur- Dried Fish
Svið- Sheep’s Head

Hello I’m in Keflavík, Iceland! Keflavík is a city located around the SW part of Iceland. Keflavík has many amazing tourist attractions such as The Icelandic Museum of Rock ‘n’ Roll, the Reykjanes Art Museum and the Reykjanes Tour. When I arrived it was 8:36 pm. I was very tired.
For my stay I stayed in a hotel called Hotel Keflavík. The bed I slept in was kinda skinny. The pillow felt like I was sleeping on a warm sheet of fluff. The TV in my room was small. The blankets were wonderfully comfortable. There was a desk and a wooden chair below the TV. I also had a wooden table with the TV remote on it. There were a few restaurants in the hotel. I went to one with a really cool glass curved overhang with fancy chairs. The chairs color looked like a sweet red velvet cake color.
I went to a really cool place called Viking World. There was a really big, spruce tree bark color boat. On the boat there are some really fascinating circle with cool designs on both sides of the boat. The boat was being hung up by some really strong wires hanging from the ceiling. There was a huge white sail that looked like it had been sitting out for a few years. I saw some other really cool things like, dolls that looked like paper, spinning around some light up thing. It looked so cool!
The Viking ship is a replica of the old viking ship that was used around A.D 870. I learned that the ship’s name is Gokstad and that the ship held about 70 crew members. I was surprised that 70 crew members could fit on that ship. The ship also used 32 ores, which is a lot of ores compared to just 2 ores. The replica was built in the years 1994-1996.

Halló! Ég á Seltjarnarnesi, Íslandi!
I went to a place called Seltjarnarnes Peninsula Jogging path. It was very beautiful, the sky was filled with white clouds and a amazing view of the sunset. I went through a astonishing and beautiful field of tall grass. On my way back to town I saw a big body of crystal clear water, the reflection of the sun was very elegant in the water.
After I got back from my jog, the weather dropped to 7 Degrees celsius which is 45 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s average for this time of year. It was raining when I got back to my hotel. I was surprised to see rain falling from the sky! I was expecting snow because Iceland is so far away from the equator.
On my visit to Seltjarnarnes is saw that the land is pretty flat. I saw a few hills here and there. On my visit to Reykjavik I saw a volcano! The landforms in Iceland are: Volcanos, glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, and sea cliffs.
