Food
People grow fruit like lemons,limes,oranges, and pears. They make key lime pie from limes. It was first made in the Florida Keys. Most of the United States orange juice comes from Florida. The fruits grow in groves.
The fishermen catch lots of fish,lobster,crab and shrimp from the ocean.
Famous places to visit
Disney World is a theme park. It is a special place to ride rides and see Disney characters. The Animal Kingdom is special zoo. You can see lots of animals like lions, tigers, giraffes zebras and snakes. Sea World is a place you get to swim with dolphins and see whales, sharks, turtles, squids, and fish. The Everglades are swamps with crocodiles and alligators. A swamp buggy or air boat is used to ride around and see the Everglade National Park. The National Parks have places to hike, ride an airboat to see stuff, and see animals like the Key deer and Florida Panther. 
Animals
The state animal is the Florida Panther. It lives in woods and swamps. There are also poisonous snakes like rattlesnakes, water moccasins,coral snakes and copperheads. They are very dangerous. There are alligators that live in rivers and swamps. Crocodiles live in the everglades.
The manatee(sea cow) lives in the ocean. Then the key deer lives only in the Florida keys. It is a tiny deer.The fishermen catch lots of fish,lobster,crab and shrimp from the ocean.
Florida holidays 
Florida has holidays like Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving. They have special holidays in Florida too. Pascua Florida Day is when Ponce De Leon discovered Florida. Confederate Memorial Day is when soldiers who died in the Civil War.
