    Varna Bulgaria all information found at the Bulgaria wikipedia

   

The first stop I am going to be talking about is Varna Bulgaria. Varna is on the coast of Bulgaria. Did you know that The population of Varna is 334,763?

  

In Varna there are different sports like there is in pretty much every country. One of the sports they have here in Varna is called football does it sound familiar? Another sport that they have in Varna is called cricket you may have heard of it. Cricket is a bat and ball game. In the center of the cricket field is a 22 yard long rectangle. In the rectangle there are there stumps. One team called the batting team tries to get as many runs as they can. When the batters are doing that the other team fields.

  

Did you know the president of Bulgaria is Rosen Plevneliev? The bulgarian government is a democracy. The government that we have is also a democracy.

Well it has been fun exploring Varna but I need to move onto my next stop.

            Ruse Bulgaria

                    The second place I am going to be telling you about is Ruse Bulgaria. Did you know that Ruse is the fifth largest state in Bulgaria population wise? It was the second largest state in Bulgaria. The  population of Ruse is 156238 people.

In Ruse they have a holiday called St. George’s Day, and that is a holiday where they have a week long fair.

In Ruse there is a statue called the Monument of Liberty the statue was made by a artist called Arnoldo Zocchi. The Monument of Liberty is now often referred to as a symbol of Ruse. Another thing in Ruse is something called the flower vase. That is a vase made of cut hedges. The height of the vase is 11 feet.

Ruse normally has very hot and dry summers, and relatively cold and damp winters. Ruses winters are often very windy. In the winter Ruse is normally about 34 degrees fahrenheit. In the summer the temperature is normally around 94 to 104 degrees fahrenheit.Well it was fun in Ruse but I need to go to my next stop!

Balkan Mountain Range

Nov. 19 2016 Balkan Mountain Range

        The third  place I’ll be telling you about is the Balkan Mountain Range next to Sofia Bulgaria. The Balkan mountain range is in the center of Bulgaria. The different types of rock that build up the mountain are granite, gneiss and limestone. Did you know that the Bulgaria is not the only country that the Balkan mountain belongs to it, also belongs to Serbia?

There has been many battles that take place at the Balkan Mountain(not anymore). Most of the battles have been between the Bulgarians and the Byzantine empires. There has been many very famous battles there for the Bulgarians like the Rishki Pass and the battle of Tryavna and so on.

The Balkan mountain range has lots of wildlife. Like Dear, Bears,dazzling flowers, sometimes even Big Cats and so on. The Balkan has lots of cool nature.I Really do think visiting Bulgaria is not a waste  of time!!!!

Sofia Bulgaria            

      The Fourth stop I am going to be telling you about is Sofia, Bulgaria. Did you know that Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria? The population of Sofia is 1,222,000 people. One thing that I have seen In Bulgaria is when people nod their head they mean no, and when they shake their head in what in America is saying no it means yes in Bulgaria. Another thing that the people of Sofia do is called fire dancing,  what fire dancing is when  a person called a fire dancer, dances barefoot on a bed of embers.

In sofia some foods are somewhat close to what we eat like…... minced meat and rice stuffed peppers. And other foods are very different to what we eat like……

“Tarator” and that dish is a cold soup made of yogurt with some minced cucumbers like dill and garlic. But most of Sofias   food is somewhat like the food we eat .

I think that Bulgaria is a great place to visit. It has nice sunny weather. Delicious food. And many things to learn about like the Bulgarian language. I really do think you should visit Bulgaria!! But after you have learned Bulgarian but I really think it is worth it! Well I better go and catch my flight back to Minnesota.:)

It’s christmas! Don’t worry I still got presents. Today I went to Machu Picchu in Cusco Peru. Machu Picchu is famous because an ancient culture called the Incas built it. But also abandoned it. The walls are very bumpy not smooth at all. I also see an astounding amount of broken down  rocks on the ground.The ruins look very amazing! There was a lot of people there.

Let me tell you more about the Incas.The Incas weren’t the first people to America but the biggest and strongest.They built a lot of amazing temples.Temples are man made buildings that mostly used a long time ago.

A lot ancient cultures built temples.  When I went there it was a little rainy. I was a little bit angry. But it was worth it. Overall it was  an amazing experience.

It was pretty hot though It was 75 degrees fahrenheit. It was really awesome. See you at my next destination.

                           

La paz, peru, December 26 2021

My next destination is La Paz Peru!  I am on the plane now I’m getting there in nearly one hour.   

     I’m finally here it looks awesome. One thing I learned in La Paz is that La Paz the highest city in South America with 11,975 above sea level.I am staying at Costabaja $131 dollar hotel it is the most expensive hotel. But worth it.I wish La Paz was by the ocean cause that would be awesome so I could go swimming.La Paz is astounding! Then I went rock climbing on a 10 feet cliff. Don’t look down! Or else you get scared. once I’m done I’m going to my  next destination. Can you guess

I am at the airport in Ica Peru. The sun is shining it is cloudy Though.  It is really awesome.

I bet my cousin Ryan(College:Loyola) was here when visited Peru.  I think Ica peru is named by the Incas or by the Incas or After the Incas.Because they are really famous.Ica peru is not by the coast.But it’s close to It looks like a sandy desert so i went to explore i saw a lot of...sand.and i went to see something called Mirador Killi Killi it is like a big cool Arch it’s not as big as the Gateway Arch but it’s really awesome.And you can’t go inside.

La Paz was incredible! But i have to go to my next destination.

It’s my birthday so i’m going scuba diving in lima

Today i’m in Lima.It is the Capital of

Peru.i bet you will know when i tell

You about the hotel im staying at. I am staying at JW Marriott hotel in Lima.

After I go scuba diving.Scuba diving is really fun you get to see a lot of cool fish.

 Sometimes they make you scared like sharks

There just like bees except bigger. if you don’t harm

Them they won’t harm you.I’m really excited about going scuba diving.Now I am going scuba diving. The water is clear the sun is up.

It’s 75 degrees it’s really hot. There is cool blue fish

Bright yellow fish . and even tiny sharks . and baby stingrays are just floating around

I had fun in lima peru and  all my destinations they were incredible. See you guys later:). bye……………………………………………………………..

Fun chinchilla fact:

Chinchillas live in peru i saw more than 20 of them.

I wanted to pet them or keep them.

Kenya: By Isaac

Today I went to the Jomo Kenyatta statue in Nairobi, Kenya. Jomo Kenyatta was the first president of Kenya. The statue is 80 years old and 12 feet tall! Right now Jomo Kenyatta’s son Uhuru Kenyatta is the 4th president of Kenya. The Jomo Kenyatta statue was built by James Butler.

I love Nairobi so far it is nice. Right now the time is 7:10 pm. The weather is 67 fahrenheit and cloudy. I love Nairobi!!

I found out that scientists think that Northern Kenya and Tanzania were the birthplace of humans!!! Speaking of birthplaces most people that are born in Kenya were born in the city of Nairobi. Nairobi is the capital of Kenya.

Bye for now I am going to sleep at the Serena Hotel. Serena hotel has a pool and nice rooms.

Hi I’m back today I learned that Kenya’s national symbol has 2 lions on it at the bottom it says Harambe . Harambee means all pulling together. I like Kenya’s symbol.

I researched more about humans in Kenya. I found out that Kenya has one of the oldest human remains. It is not the oldest one though the oldest one is in Ethiopia.

Kenya’s national animal is a Lion. Lions are my favorite animal. I LOVE Lions!!!!

One of the sports Kenya plays is basketball. Basketball is my favorite sport. I love basketball!!!!

I am in Siaya County. Obama’s family is from there. It is nice there.

I am back again now I have money I am going to get souvenirs. I am looking for mini statues of Jomo Kenyatta. If I can’t find that I would get a mini statue of a lion or any mini statue.

I love Kenya! It is nice. I love the weather and Africa!!

Hi I am on a safari. I see lions. A lion is looking at me. I am scared even though I love lions. Luckily a guy was there at the right time to save me I am lucky he brought his Jeep.

My safari is in Mombasa. Mombasa is beautiful. I love it there.

I am going to eat samosa it is really good. They have samosa in different countries in Africa too. I like samosa.

I am going to visit my grandparents in Nairobi I forgot but first let me take a nap. I like naps. I will visit my grandparents a different day.

I am playing basketball right now. I am playing basketball because I like it. Basketball is amazing.

I am walking around in Mumias. I see a lot of people walking around. I love Mumias a lot.

                                           Going to Norway                                           November.17,2016     

I’m going to land in Norway the flight was 10 hours from Minnesota. I just landed and I’m going to my dad and mom’s house. We are going to the Viking ship museum in Oslo,the ship is really bizarre! I can smell the wood when I walk in. It is so cool, we are going to eat at a local restaurant. I’m going to eat some salmon and shrimp. We just eat and we are going to a library to learn more about Norway.

The black death killed 10,000 people in 1345. People believe that a man named Leif Eriksson was the first person to go to North America.People have lived in Norway for 10,000 years.

I’m on a ship to go to NordKapp I hear that it has great views. I just got off the ship and I’m hiking up the mountain I see the rock from here.We are getting lost and it is getting cold we are gonna camp here for the night.

It is morning now and we are hiking some more. And more and more and more. We are getting to the top and the view is so good you can see the Ocean.

We are gonna camp up here for a night.I’m taking pictures of the view.The Northern lights are shining tonight.It is some smash snacks it is in a bag like chips it is chocolate it is tasty I like it a lot.It is so cold.

                                  

              

    Nov,22,2016               Going to Church

I’m going to Heddal stave church in Ornes, it is a  tourist attraction for its beauty and architecture. We are pulling up now and it’s beautiful.It is raining badly so we are going cuming back tomarow.

We are on are way back and the weather is looking great. My mom hopes to my dad is driving and there is a river throw. It is cool we are pulling up again and it is cool.

We are walking to the Church is really cool. I can amadchin what was like a long time ago.We are walking in and it is crampet the sets are so close to

other.

It is really cool  outside I might need a jacket.

                 

Nov,26,2016              Going to Nidaros Cathedral

I’m going to a place named Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim. I’m looking at a picture of the place and it cool looking.We are pulling up and it looks like Notre Dame.

We are going inside and it is big.There are a lot of pews and lights. They are fancy to and we hear sing it’s gorgis we see a gwier we will just sit here and listen.

I think I mit just fall asleep we just walk out and it is HOT i’m so swety .We are going to eat at a family’s home.We are pulling up and I can smell the food.It smells good she dose not know that I’m here.We are eating some

more salmon it is better then the food at the restaurant.It is very very hot and humed.I’m going back to Minnesota tomorrow.I’m on my way Minnesota.
